GENERAL PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (RGDP)
On May 25, 2018, the new General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data came into force – Regulation No. free movement of personal data of natural persons and which applies directly to all entities that process such data, in any Member State of the European Union, including Portugal. The purpose of this communication is to inform you of the new rules applicable to the processing of your personal data, the rights that assist you, as well as to inform you of the way in which you can manage, directly and in a simple way, the respective consents.
Within the scope and for the exclusive purposes of the services we provide you, REHC, insofar as it determines the means of processing and purposes, is the entity responsible for processing your personal data and for ensuring the protection of your privacy, acting in accordance with the law and the new Regulation.

If you want to keep your data and the information that REHC has registered, you don’t have to do anything.
In addition to the situations in which we process data to comply with applicable legal requirements, we process your data for the following purposes:
- Provision of services – Whenever necessary, to provide you with our services, we process your personal data.
- Effects of promotional campaigns – Your personal data is also processed for the purposes of promotional campaigns, discounts or the dissemination of REHC goods or services if you have authorized it. These communications are intended to inform you of news, promotions, campaigns and other opportunities that you may benefit from.
REHC will keep your personal data for the period necessary to provide the services, respective invoicing and compliance with applicable legal obligations.
Your personal data may be communicated to REHC service providers for the purpose of providing services, and to judicial, tax and regulatory authorities, for the purpose of complying with legal requirements. At any time, you have the right to access your personal data, as well as, within the limits of the contract and the Regulation, to change them, oppose the respective processing, decide on their automated processing, withdraw consent and exercise the other rights provided for by law (except for the data that are essential for the provision of services by REHC, therefore, mandatory supply, or the fulfillment of legal obligations to which REHC is subject).
If you withdraw your consent, this does not compromise the lawfulness of the treatment carried out up to that date. You have the right to be notified, under the terms set out in the Regulation, in the event of a breach of your personal data, and you may file complaints with the authority(ies).
We guarantee all the rights enshrined in the Regulation. To this end, from 25-05-2018 you can quickly, comfortably and securely access the page at rehc.pt and place your order there. Additionally, you can place your order by sending a letter by regular mail, to the address of our headquarters available at rehc.pt.
We are committed to the protection and confidentiality of your personal data. We have taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to comply with the Regulation, ensuring that the processing of your personal data is lawful, loyal, transparent and limited to authorized purposes.
We have adopted the measures that we consider appropriate to ensure the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of your personal data, as well as all other rights that assist you.
Information Collection
When visiting the site, it is likely that certain data for personal identification will be requested (Example: name and surname, address, city, county, district, postal code, telephone number, email address, etc.).
This information allows us to run the business, provide service to customers, communicate offers about products that may be of interest to you and fulfill your order. The user may voluntarily reveal personally identifiable information.
If you do not wish to reveal your personally identifiable information, please do not provide it on this site. Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, the data present in the comments form, as well as the IP address and browser user agent, are saved to help with spam detection. An anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it.
The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Visitor comments can be checked through an automatic spam detection service.
How long is your data retained
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are saved indefinitely. This is so that any follow-up comments can be automatically recognized and approved, instead of putting them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if any), we store the personal information provided in your user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of not being able to change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.

When uploading images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded geolocation data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract geolocation data from website images.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (eg videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if the user were to visit those websites.

Use of Information
We use the information that is collected for various internal purposes, such as confirming and fulfilling your order; include you in our email address book; analyze trends and statistics; improve the operation of the site, content and advertisements, and send information and promotional materials about REHC services and the company’s activities.
We may also disclose your information when required by law, court decision or legal authority.
Child Protection
The website is a publicly accessible website that is not designed or directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. However, when we detect that personally identifiable information about a minor under 16 has been made available on the site, we will use such information for the sole purpose of contacting the child’s parents or guardian to obtain their legal consent.
If we are unable to obtain such consent after a reasonable period of time, or when the parent or legal guardian requests us not to maintain or retain such information, we will make reasonable efforts to delete such information from our records. Upon parent or guardian request, we will provide a description of the specific types of personal information collected from children under 16 years of age.

REHC declares that it has implemented and will continue to implement the necessary technical and organizational security measures to guarantee the security of the personal data provided to it in order to prevent its alteration, loss, treatment and/or unauthorized access, taking into account account the current state of technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we receive is truthful, timely and secure. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that information transmitted via the Internet is 100% secure.
While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or guarantee its complete security. Security is as important to us as it is to site users, so we will, where appropriate, adopt new technological advances designed to help ensure the accuracy and security of your personal information.
REHC guarantees the confidentiality of all data provided by its customers, whether in the registration process or in the process of purchasing/ordering products or services. The collection and processing of data is carried out in a secure way that prevents its loss or manipulation.
All data will be inserted into a Secure Server (128-bit SSL) that encrypts/encrypts them (transforms them into a code). The user can verify that his browser is secure if the padlock symbol appears or if the address starts with https instead of http. Personal data are treated with the legally required level of protection to guarantee their security and prevent their alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access, taking into account the state of technology, the user being aware and accepting that the measures of Internet security is not impregnable.
REHC, whenever accessing any personal data, undertakes to:
— Store them through legally required security measures, of a technical and organizational nature, which guarantee their security, thus avoiding alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access, in accordance with the state of technology at any given time, the nature of the data and the possible risks to which it is exposed;
— Use the data exclusively for the previously defined purposes;
— Make sure that the data are processed only by workers whose intervention is necessary for the provision of the service, who are bound by the duty of secrecy and confidentiality. If there is a possibility that the information may be revealed to third parties, they must be obliged to maintain due confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of this document.
Termination of Personal Data
In order to be able to comply with the purpose of this website, REHC will transfer your personal data to other entities, which will process them for the following purposes: Payment management and processing activities; Provision of contracted services. The entities to which REHC will transfer your personal data to treat them under the terms mentioned above.
What rights do you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an export file of the personal data held about you, including any personal data you have provided. You can also request that saved data be deleted. This does not include any personal data that you are required to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
User Obligations
The user undertakes to make proper use of the services and contents that the REHC website offers and does not apply to:
— Carrying out illegal activities or activities that constitute a crime, contrary to good faith, morals and public order, to uses that and/or that infringe the regulation on intellectual and industrial property, or any other rule of the applicable Legal Order;
— Disseminate content or propaganda of a racist, xenophobic, pornographic nature, in support of terrorism, or that violate human rights;
— Introduce or disseminate data programs (viruses and harmful software) on the network that are likely to cause damage to the IT systems of REHC, its providers, or third-party Internet network users;
— Transmit the user name and passwords to unauthorized third parties, and if their passwords come to the knowledge of an unauthorized user, they undertake to immediately inform REHC, which reserves the right to modify for service protection;
— Make available to all users, send by post and/or otherwise transmit, any content that, in accordance with the applicable provisions or existing contractual relations, the user is not authorized to transmit (such as privileged information, protected information by industrial or intellectual property rights or information about which confidentiality must exist);
— Transmitting unsolicited or authorized advertising, advertising material or any other form of solicitation, except those areas (such as commercial spaces) that have been exclusively designed for this purpose.
Likewise, users are expressly prohibited from reproducing, duplicating, copying, selling, reselling or exporting for commercial purposes any section of the service, use or access to it.
Limitation of Liability
Certain information included on the REHC website was provided by the service providers offered on the said website.
REHC is not responsible for the veracity of the contents or the errata that may derive from said information. Within the REHC website, links (links) may be made to other websites for which REHC is not responsible for the technical availability of the web pages that the user accesses through its website.
The user assumes, under his sole responsibility, the damages or losses that, in any case, may derive from access to said contents, as well as any other damage or damage caused to his computer system by any material downloaded or in any way obtained through the use of services or for any loss of data derived from downloading said material. Likewise, REHC will not be liable for damages or losses arising from infringements by any user that affect the rights of another user, or of third parties in terms of copyright, trademarks, patents, confidential information and any other intellectual and industrial property right.
REHC will not be responsible for damages and losses caused in case of impossibility to provide the services object of these general conditions of use, in case of force majeure, act of God and other causes not attributable to it. REHC will also not be responsible for the inappropriate use of the service as a result of maintenance work, or a faulty configuration of the user’s computer equipment, or insufficient capacity to support the computer systems necessary for the use of the services offered.
Intellectual and Industrial Property
All contents and elements that the user can access through the services offered by REHC are subject to industrial and intellectual property rights, patents, trademarks and copyright of REHC or third parties who own them. Access to said contents or elements through the services provided by REHC does not grant the user the right to change, modify, exploit or reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate or any other right that corresponds to the holder of the affected right. The customer/user undertakes to use the contents and/or elements that he accesses through the services offered by REHC for his own use and needs, and not to carry out, under any circumstances, commercial, direct or indirect exploitation of them.
Policy Changes
This privacy policy is effective as of May 1, 2020. If we decide to change any of the resolutions of our privacy policy, we will inform you through an announcement placed on the website itself.
